- working AVChat 3 installation
- acess to the web server where the client side files are installed
About the sounds used in AVChat 3
You can change the sounds used troughout AVChat 3 with your own sounds!
AVChat 3 right now uses four mp3 sounds which you can find in the sounds folder:
- alert.mp3 (used when a text chat message kicks in)
- buzz.mp3 (used when someone gives you a buzz)
- online.mp3 (used when someone joins a room)
- offline.mp3 (used when someone leaves a room)
How to do it
Just replace the existing mp3's with your own mp3's. Try to keep their size as small as possible because these sounds are loaded at runtime.
To disable the sounds just delete the mp3's (in the future we will have an option in avc_settings.xxx for this).

If you are using the AVChat 3 Flash Video Chat Module for Drupal the files you need to replace in order to change the sounds are:
- modules/avchat3/sounds/ (in Drupal 6.x)
- sites/all/modules/avchat3/sounds/ (in Drupal 5.x)
