New AVChat Build 2206
Build 2206 is focused on fixing some major issues and also adds a couple of important new features .
Here’s what’s new for the mobile client:

The mobile client now supports token authentication.

Speed up message delivery on mobile client.
Here’s what’s new for the flash client:
- Added a new setting enableOtherAccountOptionsForGuests that controls whether or not the other account options login such as Facebook is visible during the sign in and registration window, that appears only if the users are guests(specific for integrations). Now a site owner has two choices, to either restrict and only allow users to sign-in using the account made on their site, or to allow logins with Facebook also.
Here’s what’s fixed in the flash client:

The setting autoAddIpToUsername now also applies to the mobile client so that the ip of the users can be hidden.

The new chat history window now correctly hides the banned words.

Emote icons are now displayed correctly.

Fixed issue with the chat history window showing the ip’s of users after the reload button was pressed even if the showing of ip’s was disabled.

Fixed issue with chat history window loading messages from private conversations.

Fixed issue with the camera and microphone icons not updating correctly after the Reconnect button was used if connection with the servers was interrupted .

Fixed issue with images that were posted in chat not being shown right away ( Only happened when the image posted was to be aligned at the very end of the text –chat window height)

Fixed issue with images from chat history being shown under the text.
How to download and upgrade?
You can download this new build of AVChat from your client area. As a trial user you do not yet have access to this build.
Steps to upgrade an old installation:
- overwrite all old client side files (You can keep your old language files. The missing phrases will default to English until you add them to your existing language XML file.)
- overwrite the media server files and restart the media server
