The Major Features Room Music Player Every room can now have it’s own music playlist with music tracks from SoundCloud and Youtube. Upon entering the respective room the music player will automatically start to play the songs. This feature is controlled by the new setting enableMusicForRooms found in avc_settings.xml. By default this is enabled. When creating a new room if the feature is enabled you will notice a new text area in the room creation window. We’ve just released a new version of our AVChat Video Chat Plugin PRO for WordPress and it adds a huge amount of fixes. We’re considering it the most stable build so far. The entire code has been reviewed and improved. We’ve also added proper support for multisite setups, more permissions and we’ve totally updated the documentation. Build 2206 is focused on fixing some major issues and also adds a couple of important new features . Here’s what’s new for the mobile client: The mobile client now supports token authentication. Speed up message delivery on mobile client. Here’s what’s new for the flash client: Added a new setting enableOtherAccountOptionsForGuests that controls whether or not the other account options login such as Facebook is visible during the sign in and registration window, that appears only if the users are guests(specific for integrations). The HTML 5 client of AVChat has been our main focus during the last few months. Hello, we’ve just released a hotfix build that solves the issues that appeared with build 1880: Here’s what’s been added/fixed: Added a new CSS class (statusBarButtons) that controls the look of the status bar buttons. Fixed issue with the “view who’s online” text alignment in the login screen. Fixed issue that occurred if a private conversation was initiated by sending a file to another user, the sender of the file did not see the name of the receiver. Mute Streams now works properly. Hello, another hard working month has passed and we were able to implement and add a lot of new features and improvements to AVChat. Here are the major changes we did in this build: 1. We have reworked the whole genders mechanism, now the genders are imported from an external .xml file (genders.xml). This way anyone can add the genders they want to be available in the login area. AVChat now comes with a couple of predefined genders, but all these can be edited or removed, and others can be added. It’s been a hot summer here in Bucharest but we’ve been hard at work fixing issues with AVChat. Since the last final build back in July we’ve fixed a huge number of bugs. I am proud to say this will be the most solid build of AVChat so far.
